I am looking for suggestions and advice on currents; weather; ports of call for a route from Grenada, via ABC;San Blas;Cartegna up the Central American coast to Cuba.

I crossed the Atlantic from UK last November, and after a few months meandering down through the islands from Martinique I am currently in Grenada.

When would it be advisable to start such a passage?

I hope to depart in July/August and at least make my way to Cartegna to wait out the hurricane season...? any comments...? - stay in Grenada??

I would appreciate tips from those who may have done this trip in recent years - especially with regard to safety and security.

All the best
