we plan to cross Africa to Fortaleza december/january 2016/17, then spend some time along the NE coast of Brazil, Jeri Luiz Correzia Tutoia Alcantara etc to Belem Para. From Belem we plan to go round Marajo island through Estreito de Breves and adjacent waterways, then on to French Guyana and beyond.

Should anyone plan  to go the same way, give us a shout.
Already spent 8 months in northern Brazil a few years ago, most at anchor, the least one can say is alarming reports from other sites should be taken with a pinch of salt.
