Have just read a fascinating article on fuel cells for marine small boat use. It seems the way to go for the future. One difficulty at the moment is the restricted availability of the methanol fuel cartridges.
Does anyone have any personal experience? Or any views/comment?

They do sound almost too good to be true and it 's something to keep in mind as I spend the winter trying to figure out what 's wrong with our Fischer Panda diesel generator. I wish I head read some of the online chat forums about FP 's before I bought it! Maybe it will go overboard in favour of a Fuel Cell? I look forward to hearing of people 's experiences.
