PredictWind has launched a new app for PC/Mac and iPad/iPhone(available in December) that combines grib downloading, grib viewing, route & departure planning. The free app is targeted especially at the offshore user and can also be used in combination with Satphone and SSB data download.

It looks like the IridiumGO plus plan is an unlimited data package and I have certainly used a very similar package for intensive PredictWind forecasting.

Can any of You give advice on Iridium go plan for downloading Predictwing offshore weather grib files? Is it Iridium go plus plan enough for a long passage? Thank You so much for the advices.
